The “Chesapeake Area Society of HealthCare Engineering” or CASHE is the Maryland Chapter of the national organization the “American Society of Healthcare Engineering” or ASHE. These organizations are organized to expand the knowledge of the engineer in Healthcare Engineering and Maintenance. Through an organized venue of training, education, and partnerships between healthcare engineers, designers, architects, contractors, and vendors who work tirelessly to improve the healthcare environment. Membership in the society brings about closer cooperation among members in order to provide a medium for the exchange of ideas and to disseminate material relative to healthcare engineering.
